Despite these injuries, Jr. continued to steadily rack up home runs, becoming the 20th player to ever hit 500 career home runs in 2004. Griffey Jr. would eventually move to the White Sox in 2008, before ending his career back with the Mariners from 2009-2010.
Ken Griffey Jr. finished his career with 630 total home runs, the 7th most in MLB history.
